# Organizing without a settled collective reach

Target length: one to two pages of account, with checkable evidence below.

r/norge's public r/place text shows local organizing: people make a contribution usable, answer practical requests and enforce a place for discussion. It does not establish that everyone associated with the Norwegian flag accepted one goal or command (`C01`). This is a partial process model, not an explanation of every territorial outcome. From the structure down, `D01`, Assembling a capacity to act, joins usable design work (`T4-001`) to reachable participation (`T4-003`). `D02`, Bounding collective claims, joins spatial pressure and accommodation (`T4-002`) to judgments of purpose and standing (`T4-004`). Public accounting (`T4-005`) remains outside both: explaining finished work does not itself enable current contribution. These dimensions organize the questions; no arrow connects the dimensions.

From episodes up, the cheese-slicer work (`E-03`, thread `62tc6z`) progresses from proposal through outline instructions, recruitment and reported completion to maintenance (`P01`; `c0074`, `c0139`). These are distinct acts, not proof that an instruction caused completion. Misunderstanding can make defence obstruct intended work (`K01`). In flag repair and the Russian-heart exchange, respondents admit their mistaken reading (`P02`) and state an adjustment (`P03`). `N01` (`A01`, `F-001`) claims that correcting admitted misrecognition can remove that respondent's stated reason to resist, allowing intended help. The supporting words carry the mechanism within the respondent's turn [1]. This element-level claim is narrower than `D01`; the venue arrows use different mechanisms. It predicts stated adjustment, not verified pixels. A respondent who acknowledged the intended work yet retained the same reason to undo it would challenge it. It should fail when people knowingly oppose the project.

The Sami drawing (`E-09`, threads `62v431` and `631h35`) supplies that challenge to a broader cooperation story: support, a sketch and protection requests precede a report of loss [2]. A later speaker says effort went to expansion [3]. That is their explanation; the text does not identify the decisions and placements that caused the loss. Specifications and early help did not secure preservation. The model retains this outcome residue rather than inventing another condition. Kvikk Lunsj's reclassified warning (`E-17`) supplies no statement that the warning author changed their own contribution; its later completion cannot supply that missing link.

Gathering also requires work. Expressed difficulty organizing or following participation (`K02`) receives a Discord creation reply (`E-05`) or prompts a replacement collection thread (`P04`). `N02` (`A02`, `F-002`) claims that such difficulty can become a practical reason to request, offer or create a gathering place. The replacement explicitly names the unwieldy old thread as its reason [4]. The successor request receives only a maintenance-limited offer [5]. These words support a local response, not a tendency that every burden gets answered. Its negative comparison remains inconclusive. Evidence that the response was unrelated to the stated burden would defeat the attributed mechanism; an offer whose implementation remains unknown already limits claims of durable access.

Where moderators (`R01`) back a collection destination with locking/removal (`K04`), that destination becomes a post-routing rule (`P05`). `N03` (`A03`, `F-003`) claims this bounded sequence: announced collection [6], followed by reported removals [7]. The destination supplies somewhere to send posts. Enforcement invoking an unrelated destination would falsify the relation. It should not transfer to a voluntary channel lacking post authority. The Oslo travel-post redirect (`E-04`, thread `632725`) shows fallible targeting [8], while later redirects show the rule continuing. These acts do not demonstrate command over pixel placers.

Spatial action (`P06`) includes timed attacks and invoked agreements. The timed Greece call is positive planning evidence [9], supporting episodic Discord command as a rival. Raw planning statements in the retained source context make that rival stronger, but still supply no whole-room acceptance chain. Public denials of whole-room support and official Discord standing (`P07`) limit attribution [10]; they do not prove leaderlessness. Different voices do not establish a community conversion. Texas relocation (`E-10`) leaves consent and site authority disputed. Slovakia's appeal (`E-16`) receives opposed responses; a later retrospective account reports partial rebuilding but does not trace public criticism to a binding decision. The account narrates these events but cannot resolve their causal residues. Venue-to-accepted-command (`A04`) and criticism-to-restraint (`A05`) remain conjectures outside the grounded explanation.

Original placement closes irreversibly at hour 73 (`K03`). Retrospective pride, credit and unfinished plans (`P08`; `c0247`) coexist with successor recruitment (`P09`; `c0289`); recognition-to-continuation (`A06`) has no attributed causal link. The instrument's aftermath count is 17/64 distinct coded items strictly after 73 within [0,97), share 0.265625, receipt 1767, with no items at the boundaries. It includes post governance and successor activity, not original drawing alone. The last observed practical offer is `c0271`, hour 93.86194444444445, an observation limit. Participants report kept flag/Kvikk Lunsj work, lost Sami work and unfinished plans. No canvas was inspected. Recurring venue work is not a demonstrated feedback loop; the model contains no complete dated cycle.

Puranam, Alexy and Reitzig (2014), verified pp.163-166 and 171-174, illuminates partial division and information matches, local self-selection and possible intrinsic reward. It requires neither unanimous preferences nor official authority. Complete arrangements remain unobserved for a uniquely identified collective; this does not show that groups failed to solve them. Spatial claims, standing and retrospective accounting form a qualified remainder, not a new universal problem. The restricted comparison omitted global C3's contradicting and resembling/distant-field shelf legs. No literature supplies empirical support for the arrows, no novel concept is claimed, and no held-out or global-composition test has occurred.
