# Review, stage C2

**What the reader saw.** The reader saw sections of `model-p3.md`, not the file whole (sha256 `aa75ee6c6230348f916b1e2fa6f2eacf0864d5f1750d657d5d5a21a005011b3e`; QC2-001). The packet `_packets-C2/C2-reviewer.md` served the file's title line and three sections verbatim: "What the model says, in prose", "The elements" and "The arrows". It also served the story `model/story-p3.md` whole, the criterion paragraph, the tiers with every third-order theme by name, and the read verbs, under the return specification `RETURN-C2.md`. The ten parts of `model-p3.md` not served, by heading:

1. the opening, above the first section heading (it has no heading of its own)
2. "Theorised arrows, and the model with and without them"
3. "The model on the dimensions"
4. "Dynamics"
5. "Ungrounded relationships"
6. "Looked for and not found"
7. "The tiers the arrows run between, and what the model does not use"
8. "Where the model should break, in its own terms"
9. "The three strongest arrows, read as artefacts"
10. "Two tests"

In the check leg every error the reader reports is read against the whole `model-p3.md`, these ten parts included, before it is accepted or refused. Where the unserved text already answers an error, the answer points to it.

The reviewer's instruction, served verbatim on the first page of the packet (stage C2, section 6):

*Find errors: a quote that does not show what it is said to show, a contradiction, a count that cannot be right, a loop no room runs the whole way round, an arrow whose instance does not show the order claimed. Separately, propose one partition of the third-order themes into fourth-order themes that meets the criterion you were given and differs from the analyst's, with what holds each together. A disagreement is never a verdict: your reading decides nothing.*

The reader's validated return is copied below this line in the check leg (C2c), from `_fleet_raw/C2/`.

### The errors, as the reader wrote them

1. **order**, model-p3-sections.md, A01. The A01 instance answers the call [metroid/c0001] with 'the location' [metroid/c0002]. A location is a coordinate (P04, T3-070), not a build report (P03), so the instance does not show call then build.
2. **quote**, model-p3-sections.md, A02. The A02 instance's answer 'I'm in.' [sips/c0027] is a one-line enrolment. A12 and the story's Becoming able to act section code that as P15, not as a call (P01), so the quote does not show calls gathering around a start.
3. **order**, model-p3-sections.md, A04. In the A04 instance the answer [switzerland/c0045] says 'We have a peace treaty with the mona lisa guys'. The treaty already existed, so in this room border talk (P08) came before the upkeep call (P05). That is the reverse of the order A04 claims.
4. **order**, model-p3-sections.md, A05. The only A05 instance is one turn [ubc/c0084] that holds both the agreement and the sparing. It shows no order between them. A05 also gives no transition count, which contradicts the claim that every arrow rests on at least one transition in one thread.
5. **contradiction**, model-p3-sections.md, A20. A20 fails 'if ... the line's words name no canvas flood'. The text says all four sampled rooms hold, yet it concedes that transformers' first line 'names no flood'. Under A20's own failure test, transformers fails.
6. **contradiction**, model-p3-sections.md, A10. A10 fails 'if a move comes with no doubt before it'. Its pass 3 bound then absorbs exactly that case: MiamiHurricanes moves 'with no doubt of its own', and guatemala writes its doubt after the move. The bound turns failure cases into the arrow's range.
7. **contradiction**, story-p3.md, What the story does not yet tell. The story says the six vetting hosts 'are rooms the canvas founded'. The model says only that they 'have an empty pre-event brief'. By the model's own account, empty-brief rooms include side subs opened by an existing readership, so an empty brief does not show the canvas founded the room.
8. **contradiction**, story-p3.md, What followed: keeping the work; What they left behind. The sentence 'Spare accounts can also build a first shape, or serve an attack, before the room has anything to keep [A06]' names A06 for the reverse of A06's order. The same holds for 'plan the next canvas ... while the work is still kept [A09]'. These are bounds, yet the story names them as uses of the arrows.
9. **count**, model-p3-sections.md, each arrow's 'Present' line. 'Present: in 53 of 190 rooms' (A01) equals 190 minus 137, the rooms where A01 does not hold. Every arrow's 'Present' count is the same subtraction, for example A20's 23 of 155. The label says present, but the number counts failing rooms.

Unplaced: T3-017 (ordinary sub talk is not canvas organizing).

Differs: My partition makes space allocation one group by joining the hosting themes (T3-035, T3-094, T3-099, T3-162) with territorial claims. It also splits identity into how it acts: the content of the mark, narration of a contest, policing of symbols, and factions beside coalitions. That replaces the analyst's grouping by identity type (nation, neo-tribe, frame bridging). Each group names an activity at a level above its members, for example allocating space or turning rivals into friends, and none is a rename of one member.

The answers to every item are in `notes-C2.md`, under the reviewer's check (C2c).
