Dynamic model, critic repair in pass 2

Target length: under 4,000 words.

Becoming able to act, without one settled authority

Goodboye's public record starts here with invitations into a working venue, not with a complete observation of its beginning. 9YOvLUrh9PrSKI24tpl2NVeYIYs= calls Discord "our main base of operations" in c0001, item and thread 62yh1s, hour 39.638888888888886 (retained cite receipt 2141). P01 names these routes and usable instructions. Other participants offer protection, cooperation or resources across boundaries (P02). That gives a reader a possible contribution, not a demonstrated labour pool. The Mettaton request in E-39 has no response in its served thread, so the story stops there rather than completing the exchange.

The work's object is contested while those routes exist. Dutch participants dispute border destruction; dog builders explain a second dog. The account of clogs supplies a concrete version around which a speaker can express acceptance (P03). In E-04, 7wQc0fWT3YJjQ5BHd4I736UqCFA= changes from "Fight the dutch" (c0013, item 62z7n6, hour 43.683055555555555) to "I take it back this is great" (c0015, item dfq4mkc, hour 44.191944444444445), after pxkbfuMB5pD8hJcap7MNA2cZBOU= explains the plan (c0014, item dfq46vo, hour 43.83583333333333). The same speaker's explicit revision instantiates P07 [A01] (A01). This is a linked local revision, not the community changing its mind.

X9C6UMY2Mg/ERoCNZzLtM9r6hJw= states the terms: "Agreement with the Dutch to prevent them from destroying these goodboys was to give one clogs." (c0020, item dfq5x8e, thread 62zdco, hour 45.11527777777778). Here the reported coexistence condition specifies part of the intended project (P04) [A02] (A02). The protection rationale belongs to the participant; the story does not verify its effect on the final image.

The same process can end differently. Orange painting is refused in E-05; its claimed better solution stays unspecified. In E-15, a conditional anatomy concession receives "Agreed!" (c0065), but the speaker adds "I speak of my own opinion." (c0066, item dfrfm9o, thread 634x2p, hour 63.00944444444445). K02 preserves the mandate limit. The concession in E-15 does not instantiate P07 or A01: different speakers supply objection and concession, while cosmo says the earlier alarm concerned other vandalism, not anatomy. Local assent cannot become a binding settlement by being described at the community level.

Choosing work differs from keeping alterations

The project does not include every contributor's desired addition. In E-07, a failed curly-tail alteration receives the explanation that tails did not make the plan (c0023, c0024). P04 describes this selection, not a verified account of the overwrite operator. Fairness and respect for probable allied land also supply reasons to refuse expansion in E-12 and E-14.

An offer to reclaim a lost letter is answered by explaining compact, centred text instead: "it is alright, we are redesigning a more compact text that centers properly" (c0036, item dfq8jys, thread 62zx9e, hour 46.565). This is explicit response order and task redirection [A03] (A03), not proof that either task was carried out. The earlier offer is c0035, item 62zx9e, hour 46.5375. Other offers stop or route discussion elsewhere; the arrow is not inevitable.

Even a selected or permitted change can remain hard to sustain. In E-17, attempted tongue removal is reverted and Cvm9W+8FKUeizeUJyEpy/Rg5w58= explains: "There are a bunch of different scripts running, most have the blep hardcoded" (c0074, item dfrxjva, thread 637cg7, hour 72.35944444444445). K01 marks reported control limits. This is the strongest challenge to reading social permission as command over pixels. It does not establish that all maintenance was automated. The correction of faulty script coordinates in E-41 remains a usable instruction (P01), without a reported compliance result.

What remains, and what opens again

Closure at hour 73 disables placement, not every use of the venue. Participants credit defence, remember origins, subscribe because of the dog and place it in Reddit history (P05). C01 holds reported main-dog retention alongside imperfect details and unrealised additions. Those are participant reports, not canvas measurements. The Dutch-approved small-dog publication in E-18 supports reported permission for a design (A02), not execution. It cannot be identified with the failed small dogs in E-42 closely enough to test that specification or claim the exact plan was broken.

After closure, polls reopen what the subreddit should do. 9YOvLUrh9PrSKI24tpl2NVeYIYs= leaves a copycat project uncertain but directs dog posting now (c0088, c0089, item and thread 63aa08, hour 78.80972222222222). A conditional sidebar offer later supplies a resource for one possible future (c0091). These acts instantiate P06; they do not establish a completed new organisation. Live mascot and button work in E-13 also shows that future community functions need not wait for the farewell.

Attachment does not have a grounded causal arrow to renewal, and negotiation does not have one to final retention. A04 and A05 remain outside this story's explanatory arrows. There is no dated complete feedback cycle. Repeated issues and later purpose questions reopen work, but no evidenced chain returns through the whole model. The record leaves usable working routes, local specifications, remembered accomplishment and proposed further functions, with the extent of off-platform action unresolved.

Apparatus: scope and model elements

The arrows run between processes grounded in the retained higher themes, not between quantities. This model relates presences, stated uptake and observed order, not degrees. No coded covariation warrants amount-to-amount arrows. Every original coder theme is used directly or through its split higher placements; none is unused as a whole. The code c0073 remains contextual. All higher constructs are coined and retained with their original gates; there is no new placement or dimension cut.

Arrow register and its instances

A01: P03 to P07

Kind: transition; grounding: codes-read; strength: fair; in the drawn model; status: bounded; entered R4-pass-1.

Mechanism: Explaining a coexistence proposal gives a disputant a concrete alternative to fighting that the same speaker explicitly accepts or retracts opposition toward.

Fails if: The disputant rejects the explained terms, never explicitly revises, or retracts an unrelated position.

Grounding and prospective test: Read E-04's complete thread and the same initiating speaker's retraction; compare edited correction, refused permission and conditional accommodation between different speakers. The latter cannot establish self-revision without an earlier opposed position of the conceding speaker.

Bound: Only explicit local self-revisions after an identifiable proposal; not every permission exchange, collective consensus or subsequent placement. Negative check: counterexample; mechanism failure present: true. Base-rate result: unmeasured (null), no prevalence or beating-chance claim. This is an episode-grounded connection, not a corpus correlation.

Sampling unit: episode. Evidencing units: E-04. Tests: E-03: holds; Another alleged Dutch revision could fail the same-speaker test. E-05: fails; Permission might be refused rather than producing assent. E-15: not testable; Conditional anatomy accommodation could be mistaken for the same-speaker revision required by the arrow.

Counterexample response: E-05 refuses orange painting (c0017). E-15 is not testable for self-revision: c0062, c0063, c0064 and c0065 belong to different speakers, and cosmo clarifies that the earlier alarm was not about anatomy. c0066 limits mandate but does not repair missing speaker continuity. Retain E-04's explicit local revision, not all accommodation as conversion.

I believe your mods have agreed to this.

A02: P03 to P04

Kind: transition; grounding: coder-stated; strength: fair; in the drawn model; status: bounded; entered R4-pass-1.

Mechanism: A stated coexistence condition specifies an alteration participants say they will permit or include, making that term part of the intended project.

Fails if: The purported bargain names no accepted specification or the speaker rejects that term.

Grounding and prospective test: E-06 directly describes clogs as the protection agreement's terms; E-15 supplies a permitted feature and protection condition. The test is specified terms, not whether the art survived.

Bound: Reported specifications or local permissions only; acceptance neither binds all operators nor establishes sustainable pixels. Negative check: counterexample; mechanism failure present: true. Base-rate result: unmeasured (null), no prevalence or beating-chance claim. This is an episode-grounded connection, not a corpus correlation.

Sampling unit: episode. Evidencing units: E-06, E-15. Tests: E-05: fails; A new permission request may be refused. E-18: holds; Dutch approval attached to a named design tests reported permitted specification, not execution. E-42: not testable; Unrealised dogs challenge permission-as-control, but no securely matched specification tests this bounded arrow.

Counterexample response: E-05 refuses the requested alteration (c0017). E-18's Dutch-approved design title (c0070) supports reported permission at the specification level, without showing execution or the negotiation process. E-42 (c0081) reports unrealised small dogs, not rejection of a securely matched permission or term; it is not testable for A02. Retain K01 and K02 and the separate ungrounded A05 hypothesis rather than treating placement failure as a failure of specification.

Agreement with the Dutch to prevent them from destroying these goodboys was to give one clogs.

A03: P02 to P04

Kind: order; grounding: codes-read; strength: fair; in the drawn model; status: bounded; entered R4-pass-1.

Mechanism: Answering a restoration offer by explaining a different current specification redirects the expressed target of help from reclaiming a letter to compact text.

Fails if: The answer accepts the original restoration task, specifies no alternative, or no recipient responds.

Grounding and prospective test: E-09's full exchange contains an offer to reclaim E and an answer explaining compact text instead. This is response order and redirection, not proof of executed text work.

Bound: Explicit design redirection in the served exchange; not a general response to every offer, a labour allocation or implementation. Negative check: counterexample; mechanism failure present: true. Base-rate result: unmeasured (null), no prevalence or beating-chance claim. This is an episode-grounded connection, not a corpus correlation.

Sampling unit: episode. Evidencing units: E-09. Tests: E-02: fails; A cooperation offer may prompt a venue referral rather than a new design. E-39: not testable; Another resource offer may lack any answer. E-47: not testable; A future outside offer may receive a response without an implemented task.

Counterexample response: E-02 routes discussion to Discord rather than recutting a specification, while E-39 has no reply. Keep this as bounded observed order in E-09, not an inevitable offer-to-task mechanism.

If you need help in reclaiming the E, I'm a willing participant.

A04: P05 to P06

Kind: co-occurrence; grounding: reading-alone; strength: thin; outside the drawn model; status: candidate; entered R4-pass-1.

Mechanism: Hypothesis: retained attachment motivates choosing further joint activity.

Fails if: Affiliation produces no further task, or new functions are proposed independently of expressed attachment.

Grounding and prospective test: Affiliation and future functions coexist in the register but no bottom-tier passage shows attachment causing the new choice.

Bound: No supported general relation retained. Negative check: counterexample; mechanism failure present: true. Base-rate result: unmeasured (null), no prevalence or beating-chance claim. This is an episode-grounded connection, not a corpus correlation.

Sampling unit: episode. Evidencing units: none establishing the hypothesised connection. Tests: E-19: fails; Subscription might entail a new task. E-13: fails; An ongoing platform role starts before farewell. E-21: not testable; New activity is directed without explaining it through prior affiliation.

Counterexample response: E-19 supplies subscription but no task, and E-13 precedes closure. Retain the hypothesis only outside the drawn model; do not force a phase succession.

No passage or coded transition supports this connection as stated. Empty support and support_transition are deliberate.

A05: P03 to C01

Kind: transition; grounding: reading-alone; strength: thin; outside the drawn model; status: candidate; entered R4-pass-1.

Mechanism: Hypothesis: accepted coexistence terms prevent interference and thereby preserve the image.

Fails if: Agreed terms do not control the relevant operators or unwanted restoration continues.

Grounding and prospective test: Negotiations and retention reports are observed, but no passage or same-thread coded transition connects agreed terms to final retention as its cause.

Bound: No supported general relation retained. Negative check: counterexample; mechanism failure present: true. Base-rate result: unmeasured (null), no prevalence or beating-chance claim. This is an episode-grounded connection, not a corpus correlation.

Sampling unit: episode. Evidencing units: none establishing the hypothesised connection. Tests: E-17: fails; Script recurrence can frustrate alterations despite social preferences. E-42: fails; Attributed bot interference challenges permission-as-control. E-18: not testable; Approved design has thanks but no execution report.

Counterexample response: c0074 is the strongest contrary item; c0081 also attributes unrealised dogs to bots. A protection rationale (c0020) is not verification of final causality. Withdraw the causal conclusion from the drawn model while retaining the hypothesis for scrutiny.

No passage or coded transition supports this connection as stated. Empty support and support_transition are deliberate.

Ungrounded relationships

A04 hypothesises that affiliation motivates further community work. Subscription and new activity occur in the record, but no passage links them as cause. A05 hypothesises that agreed coexistence preserves the final image. A protection rationale is stated, but it is not a verified causal link to retention, and the script and unrealised-dog reports threaten it. Neither arrow is drawn. Future propositions relying wholly on them must be marked theorised.

With these hypotheses the proposed graph would add P05 to P06 and P03 to C01. Without them, the supported relations remain P03 to P07 (A01), P03 to P04 (A02), and P02 to P04 (A03). P01, P05, P06, K01, K02 and C01 retain evidence as processes, constraints or a qualified outcome report without invented links. A disconnected element is preferable to an unsupported bridge.

Looked for and not found

Before search I proposed the strongest competing account in this vocabulary: leaders and scripts decide the work, while public agreements merely endorse externally enforced choices. If this displaced local negotiation, explicit public clarification would show no uptake, or every acceptance would require identified enforcement. Literal case-sensitive searches in coded text for "scripts", "bots", "leader" and "opinion" returned matches, each read in its full thread (receipts 3716 through 3724). Their scope is the supplied coded spans, not every synonym or all off-platform action. Hit counts were not treated as findings.

The strongest contrary item is c0074, dfrxjva, thread 637cg7: hardcoded bleps explain why unwanted features return in the speaker's account. c0081 attributes unrealised dogs to Dutch bots, and c0066 limits mandate. These change the claim from effective collective control to local expressed coordination and specification. What survives is the explicit retraction in E-04 and the stated clog bargain, not a conclusion about how scripts implemented them.

A complete dated feedback cycle was not grounded. Issue recurrence and renewed polls do not supply all ordered events of a closed cycle. The empty loops register records that weak non-finding within the registered coded episodes, not proof that no feedback occurred elsewhere.

The served Mettaton thread has no response; the future polls have no retained tally; the sidebar exchange has no reported implementation. These are weak absences with different scopes, not zero coordination. The in-window sidebar reply dftazac, hour 93.28416666666666, remains context and does not create a late code. Its later correction dfu1uij, hour 101.48972222222223, is outside the window and excluded.

No search produced an independent verification of operators, a binding final moderator mandate or the final image. This is a limitation of these passages and text-only access, not an exhaustive lexical null or proof of non-existence.

Dynamics, projection and what would break

No loop is claimed: model/loops.jsonl is intentionally empty. Hour 73 makes further placement on this canvas unavailable; memory, affiliation and choosing new work remain possible. The same issue reopened in a later thread is a sequence unless a linked mechanism supplies feedback.

Projecting retained arrows gives D01 to D02 through A03 and internal D02 relations through A01 and A02. The cross-dimension arrow is a specific response to a restoration offer, not a general dimension-level causal law. Negotiation, specification and reversion constraints do not abstract into one universal "control" mechanism. Report the pair as structural arrow mass, not as an additional dimension arrow.

For D01, incoming retained mass is empty, outgoing is A03, internal is empty. For D02, incoming is A03, outgoing is empty, internal is A01 and A02. For D03, each retained mass is empty. Including theorised arrows would add A05 from D02 to D03 and A04 inside D03; these are not evidence of drift or a completed transition. With and without double placements, the lists are identical because the multiplacement log is empty. These lists are derived from the typed graph, not empirical prevalence counts. Directional labels alone do not turn an unused incoming arrow into a causal condition or an empty outgoing set into passive residue.

The model should break where an exchange supplies no explicit uptake yet the account asserts revision; where a claimed personal concession is treated as binding; or where intended specifications are taken to control independently operated scripts. These are mechanism-level failure conditions, not generic corpus-size limits. If a retained tally and implemented continuation appeared, the purpose account would change.

For A01, a coder-selection artefact could favour memorable conversion. Same-speaker "take it back" and the refused orange proposal distinguish local revision from a universal conversion story. For A02, the coder label could make a clog alliance seem causally effective. The underlying protection-condition words ground a reported specification; the personal mandate and script evidence block the outcome inference. For A03, coding both offer and answer can privilege a responsive exchange. The explicit compact-text answer grounds redirection, while the unanswered Mettaton offer prevents treating responsiveness as general. No count of coded connections resolves these challenges.

Critic response

The independent critic identified two comparison-classification errors. Both are repaired: E-15 does not demonstrate same-speaker revision, and specification-level approval must not be tested as successful placement. The rival partition remains a defensible coarser description, but the retained practice distinctions serve the criterion better. The final pass comparison and stopping decision are recorded in notes-R4.md; the criterion remains the one declared before pass 1. No literature-stage or account-stage acceptance is implied.
