Scope and membership rules

The original coder IDs, labels, notes and code memberships remain unchanged. The higher assignment of t10 is split code by code; this is a placement operation, not a recut of the coding. The complete assignment file supplies a disposition for every coder theme, or every code of that split theme. All retained themes and dimensions are defined below and in their JSONL files. Form-pass observations remain prose in form_pass.md and are not members of a counted tier.

Each construct travels on exemplars. No claim here is that an act is frequent, rare or required in every case; no three-class prevalence arithmetic or gate-based denominator is offered. The only counts describe the sweep and assignment coverage. Pass 0 denotes the R3 structural baseline; R4's numbered model passes have not begun.

Higher themes and their tests

T4-001: Contribution legibility

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: specifying what a contribution should be and explaining how to make it.

Participants make contributions mutually intelligible by specifying an image and explaining the means of placing pixels. The common work is translating an intended result into something a participant can understand and attempt. Design precision varies from a flag request to square and stripe dimensions; participation knowledge varies from a newcomer account to an explicit cooldown explanation. This does not establish that instructions are followed.

Question: How does a participant acquire a usable account of the shared object and the act needed to contribute?

Analytic membership condition, quoted from its JSONL gate: "The material specifies, corrects or makes intelligible the shared image or the interface through which a participant can contribute."

Separating test: Distinguish understanding what to do from directing where helpers or plans should gather (T4-003) and from arranging responses to competing projects (T4-002). Place technical intelligibility here when that is the material's main practice; use routing when the destination is the instruction's point and collective agency when the issue is dealing with another project's action.

Variation: Initial proposal to exact geometry; asking or instructing to reporting learning; technical knowledge to task specification.

Outside the condition: Every mention of a symbol, a venue pointer alone, or a claim that a project succeeded. Near case: A bare chat pointer in c0019 lacks a task/interface account and belongs to T4-003.

Least certain member: The reported learning in t06 is the weakest member: it says something about becoming able to participate, but it does not establish that a particular explanation taught that person. Retain it as contribution intelligibility without a teaching-to-placement arrow.

Disconfirmation elsewhere: In another setting, these descriptions neither make a proposed contribution intelligible nor distinguish an acceptable act from an incompatible one; coordination instead relies on already fixed specifications that nobody supplies or learns here.

Possible confusion: Standardization or training; the construct covers provisional accounts and learning, without claiming a stable standard or training organization.

T4-002: Contested collective agency

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: claiming, attempting and disputing joint responses among placers whom plans do not fully bind.

Participants recruit action, negotiate room and contest who can speak or act for a collective when neighboring or overlapping projects interfere. Fighting and coexistence are alternatives within this practice, not stages every participant passes through. Apologies, warnings, defense pledges and explanations about random placers expose the difference between claiming a collective response and controlling it. A national name does not establish unified action.

Question: What collective responses are attempted or claimed when projects interfere, and what limits the reach of those claims?

Separating test: The object is a current project response or its practical reach, rather than the general meaning or moral standing of a people beyond the project (T4-005). Keep claims about how the current projects should relate here; place claims about what nationality, governments or history warrant more generally under T4-005. Retrospective accomplishment without a current response belongs to T4-004.

Variation: Attack to mutual defense; unilateral warning to bargaining; apology to refusal; claimed solidarity to admitted inability to contain placers.

Outside the condition: Proof of a durable alliance, evidence that all nationals agree, or every later political judgment in an event thread. Near case: The counterclaim in c0142 concerns who can speak for all Greeks beyond a current plan and belongs to T4-005.

Least certain member: The broad t03 note includes a symbol's purpose and arguments for or against current cooperation, as well as instructions. Retain them as contested claims about the current project response. Do not call every member turn a coordinating act or move all political speech here.

Disconfirmation elsewhere: The apparent collective responses are only descriptions of unrelated individual acts, or all named placers are demonstrably bound by a single authority with no disputed reach or incompatible response.

Possible confusion: Collective efficacy or a unitary national actor; it measures neither success nor the consent of everyone named.

T4-003: Coordination routing

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: directing helpers, designs and discussion into shared working venues.

Participants alter the route by which helpers and plans can meet. Invitations offer a shared chat or draft; moderation removes posts and names a destination. The common practice is arranging access and location for coordination. What varies is the speaker's authority, the voluntariness of movement, and whether a venue carries talk, a design or project posts. The route is observed; successful use of its destination is not assumed.

Question: Where are people and plans directed to meet, and who can alter that route?

Separating test: A destination or access arrangement is central, rather than a design specification (T4-001), a verdict about posting costs (T4-006), or a border agreement (T4-002). Route changes belong here even when they concern crowding. An evaluation of the burden without a route arrangement belongs to T4-006; physical canvas relocation without a coordination destination belongs to the task or boundary practice.

Variation: Voluntary invitation to enforced removal; chat to draft spreadsheet to purpose-built subreddit; organizer to moderator.

Outside the condition: Any hyperlink, proof of destination uptake, or an inference that crowding caused a moderator to create a venue. Near case: c0099 evaluates crowded attention without arranging a destination, so belongs to T4-006.

Least certain member: A draft link in t04 lies near task specification. Its visible act makes an artifact available in a shared place; the draft's contents and authority are unseen. A purely content-level specification would belong to T4-001.

Disconfirmation elsewhere: The external references merely advertise unrelated content, with no request, arrangement or policy directing shared work or discussion to a common destination.

Possible confusion: Information provision or successful platform migration; pointers do not reveal destination deliberation, adoption or effectiveness.

T4-004: Achievement attribution

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: marking a joint result and crediting or qualifying the people and work behind it.

Participants mark the image as made and attribute accomplishment or organizing ability to a collective or helper. Reservations about perfection keep evaluation inside the practice rather than requiring a separate failure theme. The abstraction distinguishes a public claim of achievement from the actual arrangements that produced it, and from wider moral conclusions about a nation. It supplies no evidence that praise rewards or renews effort.

Question: What result and collective capability do participants say the work has demonstrated?

Separating test: It judges an accomplishment rather than arranging the next action (T4-002), asserting wider national relations or moral character (T4-005), or appraising displaced resources (T4-006). Keep claims about the product, contribution or demonstrated local ability here. Use T4-005 when the argument makes wider claims about national people, history or relationships.

Variation: Image completion to organizing competence; collective to helper credit; praise to imperfection.

Outside the condition: An independently verified outcome, a stable collective identity, or proof that recognition caused effort. Near case: c0171's claim of national righteousness exceeds assessment of a local product, so belongs to T4-005.

Least certain member: The reaction to neighboring flags and the imperfection reply are thinner than explicit accomplishment praise. They still mark or assess the shared object. They do not independently show organizing capacity or undermine the completion report.

Disconfirmation elsewhere: The supposed achievement statements do not evaluate or credit any joint result, or the analysis has inferred accomplishment entirely from material survival without participant attribution.

Possible confusion: Collective efficacy as a demonstrated capacity, or reward provision; these are attributed accomplishments without evidence of a motivational effect.

T4-005: Contested national representation

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: disputing whom national claims speak for and what relations or moral judgments they warrant.

Speakers contest the scope of statements made about a people: whether a canvas friendship can stand for relations beyond it, whether governments represent ordinary people, and whether national membership establishes innocence or righteousness. The common practice is asserting and challenging the authority to generalize about a collective. What varies is the object of judgment, from friendship to historical responsibility, and the grounds invoked, from chosen relations to inherited history. Shared vocabulary and reply adjacency are insufficient for this grouping; explicit challenges to every-Greek claims and to inherent national morality supply its common practice.

Question: Who may speak for a people, and how far can a claim about that collective extend?

Separating test: Distinguish a claim about collective people and its scope from making an operational pact (T4-002) and marking a local accomplishment (T4-004). Place a general claim about the people or history here even when the event occasions it. Keep a specific current project commitment under T4-002 and a product assessment under T4-004.

Variation: Chosen friendship to alleged national hostility; people versus government to nationality as moral warrant; forgiveness to denial of wrongdoing.

Outside the condition: Every mention of a national flag, independent evidence of public attitudes, or a community-wide verdict. Near case: c0110 pledges defense of current work, so belongs to T4-002 even though its speaker identifies as Turkish.

Least certain member: Historical responsibility in t13 could be ordinary politics. Explicit disputes over all-Greeks righteousness and moral innocence connect it to the same practice of challenging national generalizations in t12. The grouping is not warranted merely by the final-mark thread.

Disconfirmation elsewhere: The exchanges concern only an image's design or independent historical facts, without claims or challenges about what can be attributed to a people or their relations.

T4-006: Participation cost appraisal

Declared coined; source empty. Grounded gloss: questioning effort, attention or room space consumed by the event against other uses or obligations.

Participants make event participation answerable to another use of time, attention or shared space. A complaint that pixels crowd the subreddit, a comparison with meaningful work and accounts of work displaced by placing all assess the cost of involvement. What varies is whose resource is at issue and whether the appraisal rebukes others or accounts for one's own absorption. The construct does not say that costs caused withdrawal, moderation or project failure.

Question: Against what competing use or obligation does involvement become costly or questionable?

Separating test: A burden or competing-use comparison must be explicit; observation, bot diagnosis or generic enjoyment alone is insufficient. Venue arrangements belong to T4-003. An invitation to an alternative worthy task belongs here when its main act is comparing event value. A practical route arrangement belongs to T4-003. Generic event appreciation remains contextual unless it addresses an explicit burden or competing use.

Variation: Private work to public posting space; self-account to rebuke; alternative collective work to moderator burden.

Outside the condition: All watching, all repeated placement, a diagnosed disorder, or evidence that complaints caused route changes. Near case: c0120's interface question does not identify a burden or competing use and remains contextual.

Least certain member: The moderator-burden fragment in t09 is thinner than the work-loss accounts. Its source context mocks plan churn and appraises the burden of involvement; the isolated coded sentence alone does not identify a cause. Generic free-time observation in c0115 lacks a named displaced use and remains contextual.

Aggregate dimensions

D01: Practical coordination reach

Declared coined. Gloss: the practical reach of attempts to make contributions usable together. Members are T4-001, T4-002 and T4-003.

How are contributions brought into relation through intelligible tasks, collective responses and common venues, and what remains outside those arrangements? The dimension distinguishes technical intelligibility, the reach of claims on other placers, and shared destinations. No single member distinguishes those bases and their limits together. This is an analytic comparison of arrangements, not an arrow between them or a success score.

Membership predicate: A member concerns an arrangement or limitation in making contributions usable together, rather than a verdict about the meaning of the achievement.

Dimension gate: The construct distinguishes a practical basis or limit of relating contributions: a specification, a collective project response, or a coordination destination.

From this side of the pairwise distinction, a specification, defense pledge or destination arrangement can be practically consequential without judging national character or declaring a final achievement. D02 asks about attribution, not how a contribution is arranged. c0033 is a near case excluded here because it credits organizing rather than arranging an act.

The least certain member is T4-002: its claimed collective response includes opposition and failed attempts. Those limits are precisely what makes reach different from effectiveness; removing failed attempts would turn the dimension into an outcome-selected category. Evidence includes c0003, c0029, c0191, c0110, c0026 and c0101, in E-01, E-04, E-06, E-12 and E-15. Their full source words appear below. Confidence in the grouping is clear, without implying causal confidence.

Likely confusion: Formal authority or proven coordination success; reach here distinguishes what is made intelligible, whom plans can address, and where contributions are routed. Disconfirmation elsewhere: Specifications, collective responses and working venues do not distinguish any observable ways or limits of bringing contributions into relation; the proposed common question has no material referent.

D02: Collective attribution scope

Declared coined. Gloss: what can be credited to a collective, and how far that claim reaches. Members are T4-004 and T4-005.

What can a statement about a joint accomplishment attribute to a collective, and when do claims extend or encounter limits beyond the product? A collective can receive credit for a product or local competence without thereby acquiring a common moral character or relations with another people. The dimension adds that distinction of scope. The members remain separate because evaluating an accomplishment and contesting national generalization do different work.

Membership predicate: A member concerns attribution of achievement, ability, relationships or moral character to a collective, including challenges to the scope and membership of that attribution.

Dimension gate: The construct explains what people claim about a collective and the scope or warrant of that claim, from a local accomplishment to national relationships or virtue.

From this side of the pairwise distinction, a claim about what a collective achieved or represents can be disputed after placement has ceased; it need not arrange any contribution. D01 asks about practical arrangements. c0110 is a near case excluded here because its national identification introduces a current defense pledge, not a claim about all nationals.

The least certain member is T4-004: a completion statement may simply announce a result. c0033 expressly credits a collective's ability, and c0020 credits a joint accomplishment; these support the attribution question without implying that every completion post generalizes. The scope distinction is also explicit in c0142, c0172, c0171 and c0187, in E-04, E-20, E-22 and E-23. The grouping remains arguable. Its comparison can later be put to the supplied literature; it claims no verified antecedent now.

Likely confusion: A shared identity or an inevitable expansion of solidarity; claims at different scopes can conflict and need not be accepted. Disconfirmation elsewhere: Claims about a joint product and claims about the people are indistinguishable in the record, with no explicit question or qualification about which properties or relations can be attributed collectively.

What no higher theme picked up

t02, arguing over which symbols belong on the canvas: retained as context for rival purposes and other projects. Its surviving comments do not consistently carry a shared Greek-flag organizing practice or the scope dispute about national people. t07, running a drachma April Fools joke: the room's separate joke is contextual, rather than forced into a canvas construct. t11, sending weekly banter to other subreddits: ordinary offshoots are contextual; a subreddit name alone is not coordination routing.

t10 remains intact in the coded source, but its higher assignment is split by code. c0113 and c0114 enter T4-006. The contextual remainder is c0115 (watching Bender change), c0116 (event appreciation), c0117 (bot diagnosis) and c0120 (interface question). Each has an individual assignment and reason. Keeping these observations does not require inventing a common organizing mechanism.

The instrument records 17 contextual codes out of 194 closed codes (coverage receipt 2405), alongside 177 codes picked up by a higher theme (receipt 2401). These are assignment-coverage counts, not a property or prevalence measure of community conduct. Their window is hours 0 through 97 inclusive, with no codes at either exact boundary.

A symbol-level umbrella could absorb t02, but it would merge work on unrelated projects merely because their objects are symbols. A generic event-response umbrella could absorb the split t10 remainder, but it would erase the distinction between burden appraisal, appreciation and diagnosis. Neither grouping adds an explanatory practice.

What no dimension gathered

T4-006 has dimension: []. Its comparison of involvement with competing uses or obligations does not itself arrange contributions or attribute a property to a collective. A private work account and a complaint about room space can belong to this cost-appraisal construct without being made instances of either dimension. The theme remains available for later modeling.

Placement pairs, alternatives and limits

The additional-placement log is empty. A proposal can mention technical shape, a neighbor and a venue without authorizing duplicate placement of its entire coder theme. The gates distinguish the practice carried by the material; the code-level split is used where a theme bundles unlike acts. There is no additional-placement pair to carry across a dimension boundary.

I considered a single national-mobilization category. It would hide the difference between understanding a task, being able to speak for placers, and locating the work, while treating friendship and national righteousness as shared purposes. I rejected it. I also considered keeping every coder theme as a separately renamed higher theme; that would add little abstraction and conceal the common work across task specification and learning, and across invitations and moderation.

An umbrella of all positive/negative event evaluations would gather achievement, political judgments, cost accounts and observation. It would group reactions to the same event rather than a common practice. Keeping cost appraisal outside both dimensions is more informative. Keeping all of t10 under cost appraisal would misread interface diagnosis and generic appreciation as resource comparisons; the explicit assignment split avoids that.

There is one onset in this case. No cross-room onset contrast, fleet disagreement inventory, transmission rate, coder-conflict count or third-order scheme is available or applicable. They are not reported as zero. R4 will test relationships against the episode register; the present structure establishes none.

Material register

The citation gateway supplies hours and offsets, not a separate created_utc field; I have not invented calendar timestamps. Material for a higher construct is selected above by position and separating test. All quotes come from this room.
