A contribution needs a referent. Recruitment and specification jointly turn a national presence into something a reader can locate, imagine or add to. The object can be a flag, lettering or another proposed mark, and can remain contested. The grouping does not assume a single inherited goal or completed artifact.

People support a shared effort by undertaking repeat work and repairing or supplying the means that let dispersed contributions proceed. Human watch, executable scripts, browser corrections and referrals to a current discussion venue are different ways of sustaining execution. A venue referral makes access to discussion available, not its unseen decision or success.

T4-003: Giving collective direction a public voice

Declaration: coined; source: none. Gloss: Seek, enact, challenge or dissolve a recognizable source of collective directions.

Collective direction becomes publicly addressable through requests for a leader or a current order and through speakers inhabiting or disputing state and military roles. The practical question of whom to ask meets a performed public office, not necessarily an accepted hierarchy. Dissolution withdraws the announced command's standing. Humour and contested authority remain within the variation, not evidence of effective control.

Question: How does public discussion make collective direction addressable, and who can claim to speak it?

Nearest boundary: Against T4-002, address the source, standing or currency of direction, not its executable means. Against T4-005, stage or seek direction rather than explain who caused a past conflict.

Variation: Unanswered leadership requests and competing-current-order complaints through mock decrees, ambassadors, parliamentary justification, ceremonial awards and dissolution.

T4-004: Regulating territorial ambition

Declaration: coined; source: none. Gloss: Propose, bargain over, restrain or relinquish the space a collective effort may take.

Expansion, diplomacy and restraint address a shared problem: how far a flag's intervention may extend in a populated canvas. Taking a neighbour's space, exchanging rebuilding help and releasing an abandoned site are opposed answers to that problem. Their grouping does not turn different speakers into one changing community mind, or claims of permission into proof of settlement.

Participants make collective events intelligible by assigning acts and consequences to people or groups, questioning those accounts and proposing accountability. Neutral origin reconstruction and accusations differ in blame, but both make agency legible. Denying that an ally represents a group limits responsibility, while a trial demand extends it into a proposed procedure. The participants' causal explanations remain theirs.

Participants respond to what the joint effort means to them, including pride in working together, gratitude, a lost flag, persistent hurt, parody and diversion. These acts can make the same outcome valuable or painful without agreement between speakers. Appreciation, mourning and amusement are distinct responses to an experienced effort, not phases in an inferred emotional recovery.
