A bounded model of public arranging

Explanation

This community organized locally without becoming a single actor whose national label settled what everyone should do. A flag proposal made a recognizable object available; a helper committed to it. Specifying a location, adjusting lettering and asking for a shared layout made contributions address one another. These exchanges contradict an exclusively publicity account of this subreddit. They do not establish that public discussion governed every placer, or identify its effect on the final image.

The puzzle is how practical alignment coexists with disputed reach. D01 distinguishes capacity to work on the same object from a mandate to extend it. Interference can reopen the practical target (A02); disagreement with enlargement can redirect one person's reported effort to a neighbour's repair (A03). Neither is a stage through which a whole national community passes. Swedish reciprocal terms, Greek restraint and renewed reclamation, Denmark's contested appeal, Armenia's unanswered approach and Singapore's refused truce show opposed positions and incomplete uptake. A request can remain an attempt. A participant's reason for repair is evidence of that explanation, not proof of all later conduct.

The venue imposes another boundary. The heilzaam rule defines a temporary way to participate in discussion and has an explicit end. Later, ordinary subreddit use supplies a reason for routing event requests elsewhere (A04). This jurisdiction is not control over the canvas. Discord can mean a reuse destination, a planning venue, a diplomatic prerequisite or a place to sing; the shared word cannot establish a common practice or an observed transfer of command.

Completion also changes the work. P07 presents an achievement, including pride qualified by fragmentation and imperfection. Critical harm accounting remains in P04, rather than being absorbed into celebration. P08 pursues a new public display; the museum exchange introduces costs, specialist production and an unanswered destination. This is the odd episode E-20: the same structure can narrate an achievement whose afterlife remains unfinished, but cannot promise a print. The ordinary episode E-03 and stopped approach E-10 retain commitment versus unanswered request as different outcomes.

The strongest contrary source is the bot self-account, not an empty search:

The complete item reports failed manual alternatives before automation. That participant's explanation makes a purely interpersonal production story untenable. Unseen Discord decisions also remain a consequential rival. The model consequently explains public arranging, repair proposals, jurisdiction and accounting, not how every pixel was produced. It survives the rival only at that narrower level: local commitments and explicit reasons remain observable even if much execution occurred elsewhere.

Elements and ranges

The authoritative fields and evidence are in model/elements.jsonl. Processes are named for acts, not topics. P01 proposes a mark or alteration, not its adoption. P02 commits or directs a contribution to a specified target, not universal compliance. P03 revises how contributions meet, not demonstrated improvement. P04 proposes, refuses or repairs terms of reach and accounts for their costs, not a unitary foreign policy. P05 watches, cleans and restores, without a proven survival effect. P06 sets participation terms in a venue, not a command over placers. P07 presents and values achieved work without an image audit or unanimity. P08 pursues display without an observed delivery.

Conditions retain their speakers: K01 is reported mutual interference, K02 disputed reach or costs, K03 event traffic treated as an obstruction to ordinary use. There is no need for a separate role or claim element merely to fill the schema. Removing these distinctions would conflate proposal with uptake, care with conquest, venue authority with territorial mandate, or a finished work with its pending reproduction.

Arrows and instances

The arrows run between process and condition elements, grounded below the higher themes. They relate presences, not amounts. No degree covariation was established. Each is fair and bounded: exact words support an attempted connection or explicit reason, not an identified population effect. Failure clauses were declared in note3599 before strength, and contrary episodes read before admission. Full fields, sampling decisions and counterexample responses remain in model/arrows.jsonl.

A01, P01 to P02, is observed order. A specified proposed mark gives a willing helper an addressable object:

Failure: the commitment addresses a different object or no identifiable target. E-17 and E-10 defeat universal uptake; the bound is an actually answered concrete proposal, not every addressable request. Quote support establishes the object and commitment; no unmeasured elapsed interval is supplied.

E-04 shows competing locations reopening alignment; E-15 is not testable for mutual overwriting and denies any inference that clarification guarantees agreement. The bound is a proposed remedy, not resolution.

Failure: no connection to disagreement, or help instead advances the opposed expansion. E-08 and E-16 yield refusals, not a general harm-to-solidarity response. The bound is this contributor's reason; neither national-interest unanimity nor automatic restitution survives those comparisons.

Failure: a referral merely gives work information and invokes no continuing venue use. E-09 supplies a comparable ordinary-use concern; E-21 continues consolidation without making that motive explicit and is not testable for it. Informational c0376 is a limiting contrast, not evidence all referrals carry this mechanism. The bound is the reason for routing, not observed migration or downstream repair.

Apparatus: projection, dynamics and rival tests

Dimension projection is an inventory of arrow IDs, not a prevalence calculation. For D01, internal mass is {A01, A02, A03}; in-mass is {}; out-mass is {}. These exact sets are identical with and without doubles because assignments contain none. The outside pair K03/P06 carries A04. The internal mechanisms do not abstract into one dimension-level causal mechanism: addressability, interference repair and personal dissent differ. Thus no dimension-level arrow is drawn. No grounded loop survives: loops.jsonl is empty. Reopening layout, recurring care and new display work are returns to practical questions, not a dated closed cycle running through all elements. Hour73 ends placement irreversibly; it does not end discussion, critical accounting, venue consolidation or the museum plan. All displayed hours come from the instrument. Reported anthem completion before73 does not terminate all work. No strong arrow or live/aftermath prevalence claim is made; the existing R2 item-based aftermath calculation is not an arrow denominator.

The most informative artifact challenges concern A01, A02 and A03. For A01, selecting a commitment code could manufacture successful recruitment. The full initial exchange retains unresolved location/rainbow issues, and the preregistered unanswered cheese proposal defeats that universal. For A02, a coder may preferentially preserve complaints with explanations. The two full work threads show concrete location and letter adjustments; this supports the local remedy connection but not its frequency or effectiveness. For A03, selecting a morally articulate dissenter could make restitution appear typical. The quoted causal wording warrants the participant's explanation alone; full refusal exchanges prevent its conversion into community policy. Closed coding still limits discovery of contrary uncoded episodes. None of these contrasts establishes a base-rate advantage; base_rate_beaten remains null.

The model should break as a production explanation when contributors cannot identify a common target, interlocutors cannot bind placers, or the required reproduction resources cannot be secured. Those are practical boundaries, not synonyms for this corpus being small. It should not explain automation merely by relabelling it coordination.

t06, playing and spotting other 1 April jokes, and t10, working r/place into ordinary subreddit talk, remain contextual rather than whole-theme model members. Their closed inherited code mass is15/414, coverage receipt2741, hours0–97 inclusive with no code at either endpoint; see structure.md for the complete count record. Exact theme inventory is those IDs, not a new theme-count measurement. The banner example c0316 remains visibly from contextual t10: it helps describe display without silently assigning that mixed theme to T4-004.

ungrounded relationships

Theorised but excluded are friendliness causing pixel cooperation, public planning causing the finished image, neighbour appeals causing a collective peace, alarms causing survival, celebration causing the print, and bots causing a measured territorial gain. They have no model arrow IDs and are not in arrows.jsonl. With these conjectures one could tell a continuous mobilization-to-success story; without them the retained model is the bounded set A01, A02, A03, A04, plus the disconnected care and achievement/display processes. The latter is the candidate. A graph that looks incomplete is preferable to invented links.

looked-for-and-not-found

Whole registered-episode reading did not ground a binding common mandate, an implemented Armenian alliance in E-10, a closed feedback cycle, or delivery of the museum print within97. These are weak absences confined to the supplied exchanges and window, not assertions about unseen Discord or later events. Removed bodies specifically limit reconstruction of original terms and uptake.

Before searching, note4016 stated the consequential competing account and its expected signs: outside planning and automated production. Literal case-sensitive coded searches for bot and Discord returned substantive contrary evidence, not null results. All returned spans and their raw contexts were read, including additional threads at4034/4036. The strongest item is dftk7jt, quoted above. Search does not exhaust lowercase variants, scripts, raw-only records or unseen venues; no absence claim follows from those queries. The surviving claim is local public arranging, not exclusive control or a sufficient account of production.
